Mixing culture engagement under Golden Gate Bridge.

What do you think of when someone asks about the most iconic spot for an engagement photo session in San Francisco?

The Golden Gate Bridge is likely the top choice.

There are several locations where you can use the Golden Gate Bridge as the backdrop for your engagement photos (also known as pre-wedding photos by some).

For this photoshoot, we selected Battery Spencer and Baker Beach. It was a two-hour mini session at sunset, and since these locations are very close to each other, it was perfect.

However, when we arrived at Battery Spencer, it was extremely windy! We attempted to take a few pictures, but the wind was messing up the hair and making it difficult to capture good shots, so we quickly moved to Moore Rd Pier as an alternative.

The photos turned out beautifully!

They perfectly showcase the blending of cultures with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

The couple combined Chinese wedding attire (Qipao/cheongsam) with traditional wedding attire (a regular suit). I loved this idea, and they looked amazing!

As sunset approached, we headed to Baker Beach for a quick outfit change.

They played and enjoyed each other's company on the beach, popped champagne during the golden hour, and all I needed to do was capture the candid moments. The engagement photo session focused on fun and showcasing the love and intimate moments between the couple.
